Goldman Sachs Pins $4k Price Target for Bitcoin

Goldman Sachs analyst, Sheba Jafari - head of technical strategy has given a price target of $4000 for bitcoin although they still believe it is in a corrective phase with a drop of 25% on the cards.

"From current levels, this has a minimum target that goes out to 3,212 (if equal to the length of wave I)," Jafari wrote. "There’s potential to extend as far as 3,915 (if 1.618 times the length of wave I). It just might take time to get there."

Tezos ICO @ $200m

The Tezos ICO has raised over $200 million helped by the upsurge in crypto prices. At present 49,592 BTC have been pledged alongside 254,547 ethereum giving a total war chest of just over $202m. Coinbase Add 1 million Users in a Month

Coinbase has seen staggering growth over the past month having added over 1 million users. Despite the flash crash, service issues and subsequent bailout of affected users strong growth is still unabated. Adam White - Vice president of GDAX said:

South Korea Regulatory Moves on Ethereum

Park Yong- Jin of the ruling democratic party of South Korea has announced revisions on the regulatory frameworks for crypto currencies. Three bills will drafted with the sole focus of legalising bitcoin and ethereum with the goal of protecting users, traders and investors from potential risks. This will be done through revising the Electronic financial Transactions Act and adding capital requirements of over $400k & strict AML and KYC. Kyung-Hwan of Law Firm Minwho said:

“User protection, tax evasion and money laundering have long been issues in terms of digital currency transaction. Digital currency traders have often found themselves in trouble because they are out of a legal boundary.”
